The radar now works. Red blips for enemies, white blips for static objects, dark green blips for yourself. It's nice to be able to see when somebody's sneaking up on you.
Hm, I wonder if I can reuse my "blip" shader code to make interesting particle systems for my explosions? In part, I imagine - drawing a little box on the screen will be simple enough, positioning it in the world will require lifting code from the model drawing. That's not so bad.
I guess explosions are the next thing that I'll work on - visuals *and* sounds.
